Collins College occupies approximately 104,000 square feet of floor space, filled with various classrooms, computer labs, a digital print room, video editing bays and a photographic studio. Our computer workstations and software are industry-current and downright impressive. You can also find a comprehensive library/resource center, student learning centers and a student store. Our North Phoenix and Tempe locations are accessible to the handicapped.

Collins College offers a student-centered environment. Whether you're an early bird or a night owl, Collins has a schedule to fit your particular lifestyle. Day and evening sessions are offered, letting you choose the times that are most convenient for you.
The college population averages approximately 2,000 students between day and evening classes. Every attempt is made to keep class size to a ratio of one teacher per 25-35 students. Student assistants are utilized to facilitate individual attention in larger classes.
We feature all the tools of the trade.
Our North Phoenix and Tempe campuses are designed with everything you need to get down to the business of being successful. You can use real-world tools for real-world applications. In fact, you can be trained to use the same equipment you could be using on the job. Some of our programs utilize high-performance Macintosh® computers and Windows NT® workstations, while others use PC laptops and desktops. Others include work with motion-picture film cameras and Sony HDCAM® cameras and decks.
The right software can make a good artist great. That's why we use programs including Adobe Photoshop® and Illustrator®, Macromedia® Flash™, Alias/Wavefront® Maya™, Discreet® 3ds max®, flame® and smoke®. And our Network Technology program includes Cisco® switch and router simulation software, as well as a variety of Novell® and Microsoft® applications.
